Nursery Pillow

I am constantly striving to find new and interesting fabrics to try all these projects roaming in my brain. I always tell my husband I have so many ideas and never enough time to make them. Well.. this was a project lurking in my design book for some time now and I am so excited to finally see it brought to life. I will be doing a whole line of these modern nursery pillows. I wanted to do them all at once; however, once this first one was completed, I just couldn't wait to get it in my shop. I hope you love the way it turned out as much as I love it! These are limited editions so scoop it up soon, before they are all sold out.

Custom Work!

So I just finished a custom collection for the nicest lady. This set was made to coordinate with her daughters ballet class. I absolutely adore how this collection turned out. I will definitely need to repeat it in other fabrics (the ones in the pictures are the ones the customer sent to me - :( - they were so cute!!! Anyways.. Here are the pics - and no - they aren't for sale in my shop - I'll have to find that special fabric I can remake these appliques in.

Grandmas Sewing Machine

I LOVE my NEW sewing machine... We'll it's really my Grandma's sewing machine. You know the one she sewed all my quilts, sleeping bags and dresses on. This machine is the BOMB! It is a viking and comes with these Cams - I hope I spelled that right! Anyways... you can choose all these designer stitches... I absolutely love the sweet little scallops, but I am sure I will find uses for all the other stitches. This is my latest creation - fully utilizing the cute stitches I can do with my new machine - Grandma would be proud!

I 'Heart' Mom Onesie size 9-12 months

I know this is early for Mothers Day – but honestly I think Mom’s need to be honored every day of the year. At least that is my attitude now that I am a mom. Once my daughter was born I think I had a whole new appreciation for my mom. I tell her that all the time… and am still amazed at the sacrifices she made for me and my siblings. In honor of that and upcoming Mothers Day - meet my new creation…. The “I ‘heart’ Mom” collection. It is a new twist on the typical tattoos you see men sporting. A cute heart appliqué composed of Amy Butler fabrics from her lotus collection (one of my favorites) with a tag sewn into the heart made from midori silk ribbon with the tidings “Mom” written on the ribbon…. If it couldn’t get any cuter- I even added a modified ruffled bottom to the onesie by sewing strips of coordinating fabric in a folded pattern. These will fray at the edges adding to that custom boutique feel.
What designer duds on a budget?? Please visit my shop – I pride myself in my workmanship and I try my hardest to keep my prices reasonable – so every mom can keep her little one sporting the latest fashionable craze! Please also check out the coordinating barrette – I would love to take custom orders for a bib and burp cloth to match – please contact seller in my shop. Thanks for Looking! I LOVE YOU MOM!
